The start of spring promises warm weather, sunny skies and a return to the outdoors. Spring is also the official start of the "festival season", which often refers to large outdoor festivals, but also includes Diwali, Holi, Eid, and other festivals.
The festive season usually begins with covering Holi, Eid and Ganesh Chaturthi in India, and is celebrated around the world, followed by back-to-back weekend celebrations that continue throughout the year.
Of course, in-person events, including these major festivals, have been cut short by the 2020 pandemic, and a season of 2022 festivals still to be determined.
